CHILD DEDICATION
Disciples of Christ follow the tradition of dedicating children to God in infancy and
baptizing them as they become old enough to have some comprehension of the meaning of Christian
faith and baptism. In dedicating children, we lift up the entire family for support in raising the child in a
Christian environment.
HOLY COMMUNION WEEKLY
The Eucharist (Holy Communion,
The Lord's Supper) is celebrated
at both of our worship services. All
Christians are welcome at the table
of the Lord. We practice open
communion.

TRANSFORMING BIBLE STUDIES
These are adult studies of the Bible that involve group participation and involvement in which we try to
both “ask questions of the Bible text” and allow the “Bible text to ask questions of us. We study not just for
information or historical interest but for human transformation toward healing and wholeness contained in
the Christian message. This is a method of Bible Study developed by the late Walter Wink, with whom our
pastor studied in seminary.
